Look beyond colour
Do not use colour alone to communicate an error or a required action. Add a text explanation and a clear relationship to the relevant control. Check contrast between foreground information and its background.
Give controls clear names
Use visible labels for form fields and descriptive wording for links. Plan headings to reflect the page’s structure. Native HTML controls provide useful built-in behavior when used appropriately.
Test a real journey
Try reaching the primary action with a keyboard and at a narrow viewport. Check whether focus is visible and the content remains readable when enlarged. These initial checks are useful starting points, not a complete accessibility audit or a compliance claim.
