Describe the workload
List what the website actually runs: static pages, a content management system, a database, uploads or background jobs. Note the software versions it needs and whether email is part of the arrangement. A plan name alone does not tell you whether it supports that workload.
Compare the whole arrangement
Make a comparison sheet with renewal cost, storage, transfer limits, backups, support channels and account ownership. Ask which limits are hard caps and what happens when you reach them. A low introductory price is only one part of the decision.
Check how you leave
Find out how to export your files and database, retrieve backups and move the domain. Ask which tasks the provider handles and which remain yours. HostRat publishes planning guides; this page is not a hosting checkout or a current price list.
