Make the offer understandable
Say who the page is for, what is available and what happens next. Place the important conditions near the action, not in a distant paragraph. Someone should understand what they are requesting before entering contact details.
Ask for what the next step needs
For a first conversation, a name, a way to reply and a short question may be enough. Review each extra field with the person who will handle the request. Explain why any unusual information is needed and avoid collecting sensitive details through a general enquiry form.
Test the complete journey
A successful form is more than a submit button. Check the confirmation message, delivery to the right destination, error handling and the follow-up process. Use test details and verify their removal afterward. These are planning notes, not a promise to supply sales leads.
